This is our company ethos, but it’s our people’s too: Refresco is at the cutting edge of a fast-moving industry because we have passionate people pushing the boundaries of what’s best.Stop and think: how would YOU put our drinks on every table?Summary Description:Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing all beverage line electrical, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to intended operation. Regularly observes and discuss equipment performance and make recommendations for activities to improve this. Promotes and supports the company quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement.Essential Job Functions:Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots and seatbelts while operating forklifts)Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.Keep all safety material current and readily accessible. This includes MSDS sheets, HAZCOM recordkeeping, EPA regulations, and OSHA requirements.You must be aware of the condition of physical property throughout the facility and immediately correct unsafe conditions.Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenanceSchedule and perform minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis. Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations.Learn and comply with all company safety rules. Use appropriate safety equipment at all times. Be familiar with all safety features on equipment, machinery, or materials encompassed by job duties. Immediately report any unsafe conditions to the manager.Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair involving the following on a daily basis:Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)A/C and heating systemsAppliancesWater irrigation systemsStairs, gates, fences, patios, and railingsTile, carpet, and flooringRoofing, gutters, fastenersInterior/exterior lightsFireplaces, ceiling fansGas fixtures and appliancesDoor locks, P.O. boxes and locksSecurity systemsCeiling leaksWallsRequired Skills:High level of proficiency in written, verbal, and arithmetic skills.Ability to plan and juggle multi-task environment and lead maintenance team.Ability to train and direct maintenance staff.Ability to earn future designations as required by Industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA requirements, etc.Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. information as required by daily operations.Must pass Maintenance Skills Competency Test.Competencies:Decisive, pro-active, self-motivated, and assertive.Strong interpersonal and developed communication skills.Data analysis and identification of trends.Internal customer focus with the ability to adapt to the variable demands of the business.Ability to demonstrate working under initiative and think things through to solution.Ability to work under own supervision.Education and Experience:High school diploma required.Minimum of 3 yrs experience High-Speed Manufacturing maintenance environment.Working Conditions:Physical-Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight.Visual/Sensory-This position requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.Work environment- Work and environment are very repetitive.Mental Stress- There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.Travel Requirements:May be minimal travel required as needed for training.Physical Requirements:Physical Demand: Rarely (0-15%) O = Occasionally (16-45%) F = Frequently (46-100%)Stand or Sit= FStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl= FLifting 50 lbs.
