Accounting Director - Vacation Rental Industry

Job Description: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple hospitality and vacation rental clients.Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, month-end closings, and reconciliations.Lead and mentor a team of accountants and controllers, fostering quality, accountability, and professional growth.Develop, document, and optimize accounting processes to support efficiency and scalability.Manage client relationships, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.Review and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with FP&A and client leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Oversee system integrations, chart of accounts setup, and automation improvements across accounting tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.Strong understanding of hospitality or property management accounting structures.Experience in Vacation Rentals or HOAs (Homeowner Associations) is preferred.Proven success in managing multi-entity consolidations and complex reporting environments.Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar).Benefits: Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing financial services firm.Collaborative and supportive team culture.Exposure to diverse clients and industries. xevrcyc
