You will combine a farmer’s approach of nurturing existing relationships with a hunter’s mindset to identify and close new opportunities within the account.This is a high-impact leadership role where you will be responsible for scaling existing portfolios, unlocking new growth opportunities, and delivering measurable business outcomes.Skills RequiredStrategic Account ManagementDevelop and execute a strategic account plan to drive significant revenue growth (targeting expansion from $7M to $20M portfolio)Own revenue, margin, and account performance metricsServe as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for the clientBuild industry-specific playbooks for retail clients leveraging Impetus capabilitiesClient Relationship ManagementEstablish and grow CXO-level relationships within retail organizationsStrengthen Impetus’ footprint by positioning analytics, AI, and cloud solutionsDrive executive conversations and strategic alignment with client stakeholdersSolution Development & DeliveryCollaborate with delivery and pre-sales teams to ensure successful program executionCo-create transformational solutions tailored to retail use cases (supply chain, demand forecasting, customer analytics, etc.)Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retentionBusiness DevelopmentDrive account expansion and new revenue streams through cross-sell and upsellCreate and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategiesLeverage ecosystem partnerships (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) to unlock growth opportunitiesIdentify and pursue new logos within the retail ecosystem (if applicable)Advocacy & CollaborationAct as the voice of the client within ImpetusBuild strong collaboration across sales, delivery, and partner teamsLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with client leadershipFoster a high-performance, ownership-driven cultureKey Requirements10+ years of experience in enterprise IT services / consulting sales, with strong exposure to retail domainProven track record of managing and growing large accounts ($5M–$20M+)Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, account expansion, and pipeline developmentStrong experience in CXO-level stakeholder management and strategic sellingAbility to identify whitespace opportunities and drive large, complex dealsSelf-driven mindset with ability to operate independently without heavy team dependencyStrong understanding of data, analytics, AI, and cloud-led transformation in retail industryExcellent communication, negotiation, and executive presenceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferredPay Range: This role offers a highly competitive base salary along with performance-based incentives aligned to individual and organizational goals.BenefitsComprehensive Medical Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision)Short-Term and Long-Term Disability CoverageLife InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays)Paid Paternity and Maternity Leave
