*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tissue Conversion Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tissue converting machinery to produce high-quality tissue products efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that production standards are met or exceeded, while adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment where precision and teamwork drive success. *Responsibilities* * Operate tissue converting machines, including flexo presses and other industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs * Interpret manufacturing documents, work orders, and quality standards to meet product specifications * Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks on finished tissue products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in production * Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on converting machinery to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation * Follow safety protocols diligently, including manual handling procedures, safety standard adherence, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) * Assist with machine setup, calibration, and maintenance tasks such as machining or industrial equipment adjustment to optimize efficiency * Handle paper packaging and packaging processes with precision, ensuring proper labeling, stacking, and storage of finished goods *Skills* * Proven experience operating converting machines such as flexo presses and related industrial equipment * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively * Familiarity with prepress processes and printing techniques relevant to tissue product manufacturing * Knowledge of quality standards in production, including dimensional measurements and inspection techniques * Ability to interpret production documents, work orders, and technical manuals accurately * Skilled in manual handling practices aligned with safety standards in manufacturing environments * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments * Forklift certification or experience is preferred for material handling tasks * Understanding of safety protocol adherence within a manufacturing setting is essential Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to producing top-quality tissue products while maintaining a safe, efficient, and innovative work environment.
