Executive Director

The Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) is seeking to fill its Executive Director (ED) position after a short vacancy. Applications are now being accepted after which an RPV Executive Director Search Committee will review, rank order, and present a package of top-ranked applications to the RPV Chairman for further review, in-person interviews, and final selection.The ED is the RPV Chairman’s direct representative at the state party headquarters in Richmond, VA, reports directly to the Chairman, and is responsible for the following in consultation with the Chairman:Applicant preferred qualifications are:Fundraising Experience: Demonstrated success in fundraising, including managing donor relationships and organizing fundraising events to secure support from various sources.  Includes resourcefulness and creativity to make revenue go as far as possible.Local Engagement: Proven ability to engage with local party leaders, grassroots organizations, SCC members, and community members to foster a strong support network and mobilize volunteers effectively.Strategic Vision: Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the party’s goals for growth, voter outreach, and community engagement.  Political Acumen: Strong understanding of the local, state, and federal political landscapes and key issues affecting constituents, enabling effective party strategies.  Includes a demonstrated ability to organize grassroots volunteers effectively.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively representing the party to the media, stakeholders, and the public.Digital Proficiency/Branding: Strong skills in digital marketing, social media, and data analytics to enhance outreach and engagement strategies.  At a minimum a basic understanding of branding and marketing principles.Turnaround:  Commitment to turning the RPV around for a better future. Operations:  Experience in managing people and procedures in an organization. Follow-Through: Execution and follow through for success.Applicants must submit applications in the form of a cover letter and attached detailed resumes.
