That means learning and growing together and challenging each other to be better engineers and humans.RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver best in class experiences to our Customers.You will define and lead work breakdown, execution, and delivery for small to medium epics as well as mentor, grow, and lead other more junior team members.Design and develop new modules from scratch.Development of code, complete with automated tests that are scalable and maintainable.Perform code reviews with helpful and meaningful feedback for your teammates.Following through with documentation, coding standards, testing, and production accountability (logging/monitoring/alerting).Participate in design, development, testing, release strategies, experiment strategies, monitoring visualization, alerting, escalation policies, and run books.Actively work on debugging production issues.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of professional software development experience.2+ years experience creating and supporting highly interactive data driven applications.2+ years of technical leadership experience.You have worked on a large scale application including diagnosing issues in production as well as incident escalation and management.You have solid knowledge of web architecture from presentation layer to data access layer.Experience with React, Redux, and highly dynamic web applications along with a solid understanding of how browsers work.Experience with building backend REST based API’s with Node.js.Experience with writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality code.Experience with relational databases (MySQL).Experience with concurrency, multi-threading and event-driven architectures.Experience with Microservices and Containerization.Experience and familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, and cloud deployment frameworks like Serverless or similar.Compensation and Benefits:Compensation: $150kEnd of Year Discretionary BonusUnlimited PTO after year 1 (3 weeks to start)Medical, Dental & Vision401k MatchEducation Expense ReimbursementGym Membership ReimbursementHSA and FSAEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Traditional Physical RequirementsRequires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching.Requires the ability to lift 10 pounds.Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction).Join our team at Priority Technology Holdings, Inc. and be part of a dynamic and innovative company that is transforming the financial technology landscape.
