OB Hospitalist Opening in Central New MexicoThis position will be part of a team of clinicians at the assignedsite working together with the support of the Site Director of Ob Hospitalists. Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn PhysicianLicensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned siteHighly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationship with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and MMG corporate staff)Team oriented, service minded, goal focused individual who believes in MMG missionExcellent verbal and written communication skills Duties :Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal-Fetal-Medicine support may only be available by telephoneParticipate in the development of clinical guidelines and protocolsParticipate in peer reviews or investigation of clinical incidents as requestedCollaborate with team to ensure hospitalist participation in overall quality initiatives
