We also leverage advanced technology both in our trucks and within our office operations to improve efficiency and provide faster, more effective service to our customers.BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceAflac (Supplemental Insurance)401(k) with 4% Employer MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Free trash pickup within service areaFull-time position (40-50 hours/week)ScheduleFull-TimeMonday - FridayStart time: Approximately 4:00 AM until route completion (typically 8-9.5 hour days)Location: Philipsburg, PAResponsibilitiesOperate various types of trash trucks on residential and commercial routesAbility to operate Front Load, Side Load (ASL), Roll-off a plus!Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily safety inspections (DVIRs)Safely navigate routes, residential streets, alleys, and commercial areasWork with a Loader to complete routes efficiently and safely (if applicable)Assist with loading when needed, including bulk and large-item pickupsOperate automated and semi-automated lifting equipmentTransport and dispose of waste at designated facilitiesComplete route sheets, work orders, dump tickets, and required documentationCommunicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, hazards, or service issuesIdentify and report damaged containers or equipmentMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truckRefuel and monitor fluid levels as neededFollow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including Life Critical Rules (LCRs)QualificationsValid CDL Class B or higher (no air brake restriction)Valid Medical CertificateMinimum 1 year of experience operating a commercial vehicle (CMV)Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirementsWaste industry experience preferredStrong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulationsAbility to work early morning hours and in outdoor conditionsStrong communication and teamwork skillsMust pass DOT physical and pre-employment screeningAbility to work in all weather conditions
