Please indicate your availability when applying for this position.Job Description:Teachesa full range of courses in visual communications and design for print, web andinteractive media.Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomesPrepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handoutsEvaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinationsMaintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlinesBe available to students for coachingPeriodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and developmentRequiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Design or related fieldAbility to teach Visual Communication and Graphic Design coursesProficiency in communication and presentationProficiency in industry standard design softwareMinimum of 2 years recent relevant professional work in a graphic design related fieldDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skillsAppropriately responds to the needs of the communityPreferredQualifications:Professional graphic design portfolio will include web design and interactive interface designTeaching experienceIn order to be considered for an Adjunct faculty position, these additional documents are required to be uploaded: Unofficial transcript & license/certifications (Based on requirements outlined in posting).Special Note: This is a Part-Time Faculty position, with the following set rate of pay: $942.00/Equated Semester Unit (ESU)Special Instructions to Applicants: During the application process, you may be required to attach a cover letter and/or resume.
