Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in Frisco, TX

OverviewOur affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Frisco, TX. Position Highlights:Join an established and successful practice that has served women in the Frisco and the greater Dallas Metro area for over 20 years.Practice team consists of 4 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner along with a great support staff.This is mainly a clinic only position and does not require any call, nights, or weekends.Duties include seeing primarily obstetrics and gynecology patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications.Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions.Counsel patients on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20 per day.Will perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.Warm and supportive work environment with a physician team committed training and mentorship.Compensation/Benefits Highlights:Competitive compensationPaid time offCME reimbursement annually + paid time offComprehensive health, dental, and vision401k with matchingShort- and long-term disability, company paid life insuranceCompany paid malpractice coverageSupportive and appreciative cultureRequirements: National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtainUnrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtainCurrent Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtainCPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtainProficient in assessment and development of treatment plansAbility to communicate with patients, team members and management staffAbility to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physicianOne year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred City/Location Highlights:In 2018, Frisco topped MONEY Magazine's prestigious listof the "50 Best Places to Live in America".
