This role is responsible for helping coordinate site activities, track progress, and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans and quality standards. The Superintendent I works closely with trade partners, project teams, and vendors to support scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to contribute to a well-organized, safe, and collaborative jobsite environment while building foundational leadership and construction management skills.What You'll DoField Operations & ExecutionAssist with daily field operations under direction of Superintendent and Assistant SuperintendentSupport tracking of daily work activities and production progressHelp maintain site organization, cleanliness, and basic safety standardsObserve trade activities and report progress or issues to field leadershipAssist in verifying work is being performed in accordance with drawings and specificationsParticipate in site walks to gain understanding of project executionDocument field conditions, issues, and completed workSupport implementation of established field processes and proceduresAssist with manpower tracking and daily reportingPromote accountability by following direction and completing assigned tasks reliablyProject Planning, Logistics & SchedulingAssist in maintaining short-term schedules and lookahead plansSupport coordination of deliveries, material staging, and site accessTrack progress of critical activities and report delaysAssist with pull planning and coordination meetingsHelp identify potential risks or conflicts and communicate to leadershipSupport alignment of daily field activities with project scheduleAssist in documenting schedule impacts and field changesCoordinate with trades on daily work plans as directedMaintain logs related to deliveries, manpower, and site activitiesSupport execution of site logistics plansProject Lifecycle & Stakeholder ManagementSupport project execution from mobilization through closeoutAssist with communication and coordination with trade partners and vendorsAttend coordination and progress meetings and document key takeawaysHelp track and distribute project updates, RFIs, and field communicationsMaintain organized project records and documentationSupport closeout activities such as punch lists and turnover documentationDevelop professional working relationships with project stakeholdersEnsure timely communication of field information to project teamRepresent Redmond Construction professionally in daily interactionTrade Partner & Financial ManagementAssist with trade partner coordination and daily oversightTrack trade partner work progress and report performance concernsSupport documentation for change orders and field directivesHelp monitor material usage and deliveriesAssist in identifying scope gaps or inconsistencies in the fieldSupport cost tracking through daily reports and field data collectionMaintain organized records of field-related cost impactsBuild positive working relationships with trade partnersQuality Assurance & Quality ControlManage quality control process to ensure inspections are successfulPerform basic field inspections under supervisionVerify installed work aligns with drawings and specificationsAssist with third-party inspections and testing coordinationMaintain organized quality documentation and logsSupport punch list tracking and closeout activitiesPromote attention to detail and quality in daily workSafety LeadershipFollow all company safety policies and jobsite requirementsAssist in conducting safety walks and identifying potential hazardsAttend safety meetings and toolbox talksReport unsafe conditions or behaviors immediatelySupport documentation of safety observations and incidentsReinforce safe work practices through personal exampleAssist with maintaining safety records and logsPromote a safety-first mindset in daily activitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentDemonstrate willingness to learn and take direction from field leadershipSupport team coordination and communication effortsMaintain a positive attitude and strong work ethicSeek feedback and apply coaching to improve performanceSupport onboarding of new team members when applicableContribute to a collaborative and respectful team environmentSupport the company's mission and vision by upholding its culture, values, and expectations in all actions and decision-making.Company Initiatives & Marketing SupportSupport collection of project data, photos, and updates for internal useAssist with documentation for proposals or marketing materials as neededFollow company processes, tools, and standardsParticipate in company initiatives when assignedShare observations and lessons learned with project teamRepresent Redmond Construction professionally on-siteContribute to maintaining a positive company image through daily actionsWhat You'll Bring8-10 years of experience as a commercial interior SuperintendentA degree in construction management, architecture, or project management, but there is no specific degree requirement. Candidates must be proficient in building schedules, scope development and review, contract review, financial management, and risk management. Candidates should be skilled in client retention, relationship management, and team building.
