(2-3 Week days + Every other weekend required. M-F: 9AM - 8PM Saturday 9AM - 2PM, Sunday 9AM - 2PM) Note: Application for DEA registration will be required at the time of offer acceptance. A current BLS from ARC or AHA is required.Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience. Position Summary MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioners will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidenced-based care to a panel of patients. The clinical care team will work with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for entire panel of patients. This will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role will report to the practice manager. Responsibilities:Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomesPerform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of careEncourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management Required experience:A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine or primary care practice preferredWorking knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditionsWorking knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions Education Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role required.
