Business AnalystOnsite | Washington, DC | 5 Days a Week Active Top Secret Clearance Required ResponsibilitiesLead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment. Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered. Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement. Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed. Provide consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Requirements4-6 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements supporting application development leveraging end-user requirements and decomposing those into well-structured requirements (epics/stories) Confidently communicating and validating requirements with relevant stakeholders Working knowledge of requirements management tools (Such as JIRA, TFS, etc.) Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Education RequirementsBachelor's degree (in English, Literature, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Psychology or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline) Clearance RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.
