Same-day offers were made following the interview.CompensationPay starts at $23/hour for new recruits and increases as you advance to the apprentice level and then to the rank of glazier and beyondOvertime is offered when availableSafety bonuses, performance bonuses, tool buys, zero-cost health insurance, zero-interest hardship loans, incentivized savings plans, 401(k) matching, and annual raises are some of the key benefits availableResponsibilities:Apprentice glaziers assist more experienced glaziers with field installations or shop fabricationsGlaziers measure, fabricate, and install glass shower enclosures, mirrors, railing systems, aluminum storefronts, and other glass productsGlaziers are required to interface with customers, troubleshoot, and problem-solveGlazier uses carpentry skills to create beautiful finished productsQualifications:Candidates must possess a minimum level of mechanical aptitude that includes the ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools, and understand written and verbal instructionsThe job requires adding and subtracting fractions to determine glass sizes and opening sizesCandidates must be able to carry up to 80 lbsApplicants must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a vehicleApplicants must be able to pass a drug testApplicants must be willing to work hard and work overtime (a few hours a week when necessary)About Company:At Rex Glass, we specialize in custom residential and commercial glass and mirror products.
