Collaborates with other departments to determine, analyze and eliminate problems within the manufacturing environment. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.What You’ll Do:Monday - Thursday 6pm-6am Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality requirements are being met on a daily basis per Company and client expectations; takes corrective action to resolve problemsAccomplishes production staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, and coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and proceduresEnsures standard operating procedures (SOPs) and plant safety standards are being met at all timesMaintains staff by assisting in the hiring process, orienting, and training employees in partnership with HRBP, Director of Operations and Production Manager; tracks employee time off requests and follows timekeeping procedures according to payroll requirementsMonitors work flow; sets processing variables; observes control points and equipment; identifies opportunities for improvement; implements cost reductions; develops reporting procedures and systems; monitors headcount to ensure production and quality schedule is achievedCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning staff, accomplishing production, quality and cost results; establishing priorities and monitoring progressMaintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing staff on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and proceduresCoordinates with other shifts and departments to provide quality product for our customersEnsures accountability of staff and shift production Coordinates with maintenance to ensure equipment runs properlyMaintains accurate production and quality control records on a daily basisSpends less than 50% of the time running machineryAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist mechanics and machinists in repair work when necessaryPerform back-up for warehouse employeesProvide on-the-job training to new employeesAbility to perform timely and accurate data entryWhat You’ll Bring:Knowledge And Skill RequirementsBasic reading, writing, and math skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED3 years of manufacturing experience preferredManual dexterity required for operating machinery andAbility to lift up to 50 pounds several times dailyAbility to be certified in forklift operationWhat You’ll Receive:As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time.
