PLC Technician

Soelect Inc. is a fast-growing, multi-patented clean technology startup located in Greensboro, NC. Soelect has developed an advanced lithium metal composite anode that, when combined with a solid-state or liquid electrolyte, significantly increases energy density, power and safety while also lowering manufacturing costs through our patented material design and proprietary processes. Position Brief PLC Technician /Engineering Department FT Position /Contract: up to 40hrs per week / On-site M-F / Greensboro, NC. Safe, Clean, and Dust Free Work Environment Qualification A combination of relevant PLC education and experience is required. (Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education) Proficiency with Mitsubishi IQ-R series PLC. Knowledge of the PLC programing: GX Works 3, Mitsubishi (the latest version). Knowledge of the HMI (Human Machine Interface, control panel): GT Designer 3, Mitsubishi. Experience with complex control systems, sensors, operator interface programming and data collection systems. Roles and Responsibilities Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, making, and facilities power & controls equipment Using electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programming PLC.
