About the JobAbout the Role:Women's Integrated Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Triage Medical Assistant to join our dedicated women's health team. This is a critical role that serves as the first clinical point of contact for our patients, assessing and prioritizing their medical needs. If you are an empathetic communicator with strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Perform telephonic and electronic triage by assessing patient symptoms and concerns to determine the urgency of their needs.Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other staff members to coordinate patient care.Provide patient education and medical advice based on established clinical protocols and provider instructions.Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care coordination in the electronic health record (EHR) system.Manage incoming patient messages and prescription refill requests, ensuring timely follow-up.Assist in scheduling appointments based on patient acuity and urgency.Process lab results and other patient correspondence as directed by the provider.Handle sensitive patient information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.Qualifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is required.Previous experience in a medical office, with OB/GYN experience strongly preferred.Proven experience with telephone triage is a plus.Familiarity with medical terminology and Electronic Health Records (EHR) is essential; experience with [Greenway Intergy] is a bonus.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and convey information with clarity and compassion.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs accurately.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume clinical setting.Why Join Our Team?We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
