Modular Installation SpecialistAs a Modular Installation Specialist at Hayes Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in assisting with the installation, assembly, and repair of modular structures across the U.S. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has experience in construction, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. If you're ready for travel and are motivated by challenges, this is the job for you!Shift: 7 AM 5 PM, 6 days a week (50-60hr weeks) Per Diem: Provided for overnight stays Location: Nationwide travel (85% travel required)What You'll DoAssists in modular installation, assembly, and repairs at construction sites ensures projects are completed to specifications and within deadlines.Operates and maintains tools and equipment ensures safety and efficiency on-site by keeping tools in good working condition.Identifies and troubleshoots basic installation issues resolves problems quickly to minimize delays and ensure quality standards.Collaborates with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards works effectively with others to ensure the timely completion of projects.Follows blueprints, detailed instructions, and safety protocols ensures all installations are completed accurately and safely according to the specifications.Communicates progress, material needs, and issues with supervisors keeps supervisors informed to ensure smooth workflow and project success.Travels extensively across the U.S. and works overtime, including weekends and holidays embraces the dynamic travel demands of the role.Who You AreHigh school diploma or equivalent.Hands-on experience in a construction setting.Carpentry skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.Knowledge of modular construction and blueprint reading (preferred).Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities.Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs., work at heights, and stand for long periods.Commitment to safety and adherence to worksite protocols.US Drivers License strongly preferred.Work EnvironmentConstruction sites with varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.Manufacturing environments with machinery and production processes.Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses.What You'll GetZekeelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
