The ideal candidate will take pride in the appearance and upkeep of the school while working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas dailyEmpty trash and recycling containersAssist with setup and cleanup for school events and activitiesMonitor and restock custodial and restroom suppliesPerform minor maintenance tasks as assignedAssist with floor care, including waxing and buffingHelp maintain building security by ensuring doors and gates are properly securedReport maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptlyWork collaboratively with school staff to support daily operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as neededStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to support the school community
