Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Manager / Generalist will be responsible for overseeing and administering all human resources functions, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and performance management. This role requires hands-on experience with ADP systems and will serve as a key partner to leadership in supporting employees and maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies.Reports to: CFOCompany located in Mansfield, Texas we are committed to building the communities in which we serve. We are confident that we can make a difference on any given project as experts coupled with a moral obligation to serve with integrity and accountability.focuses on providing general contracting and construction management on new and existing facilities within public and private, commercial market segments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources AdministrationAdminister and manage all HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and employee records.Serve as primary administrator for ADP (Workforce Now / TotalSource / Run), including payroll processing coordination, employee changes, reporting, and audits.Ensure accurate employee data management, compliance documentation, and record retention.Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and systems access.Manage employee benefits administration including enrollments, changes, COBRA coordination, and annual open enrollment.Assist with compensation administration, bonuses, merit increases, and employment verifications.Compliance & Employee RelationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, Texas labor laws).Maintain employee handbook, HR policies, and procedures; recommend updates as laws or company needs change.Serve as point of contact for employee relations matters, questions, and concerns with professionalism and discretion.Support investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations in coordination with leadership and legal counsel as needed.Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.Recruiting & Performance SupportCoordinate recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer letters.Support performance review cycles, goal tracking, and documentation.Assist leadership with workforce planning, organizational changes, and HR reporting.Reporting & ProjectsPrepare HR, payroll, and compliance reports using ADP and internal systems.Support audits, insurance renewals, and benefits reconciliations.Assist with special HR projects, process improvements, and system implementations.Perform other duties and projects as assigned.QualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Required: Demonstrated hands-on experience using ADP payroll and HR systems.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and payroll processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing prio
