Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a Supervisor position for a manufacturing client in Comer, GA. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!Duties for this position include:Build a positive work environment through clear communicationSchedule and assign direct and indirect employeesMonitor production cycle times and processesAssist with processing, troubleshooting, and technical repairsEnsure employees follow standard work instructions and proceduresPromote company goals and performance standardsIdentify and document issues related to product, process, and quality systemsInitiate corrective actions to prevent nonconformitiesControl handling and disposition of nonconforming productCommunicate company objectives clearly to employeesValidate production paperwork and data entryLead and support on-the-job training programsConduct and document team meetingsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentTrack and maintain goals and action plansCompensation (USD):$28.00 – $30.00/hour (depending on experience)Schedule:Monday – Friday7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Saturday and some Sundays requiredSuccessful candidates must meet the following requirements:Degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experienceIATF 16949 awareness training preferredQuality systems training preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience supervising employees in a manufacturing environmentAbility to troubleshoot and support technical processesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentReliable attendance and strong work ethicWHY APPLY FOR A JOB AT METRO SERVICESIf you're ready to take hold of your career, we can help you start down the right path, and we'll be with you the whole way.
