Building on more than 30 years of sustainability progress and industry‑first innovation, we remain ‘all in’ on our goal of becoming carbon negative by 2040, without the use of offsets.Position summary:It is the responsibility of the stackers to insure first quality packing and proper separation of colors and styles, as well as proper yardage amounts in each box.Educational requirements:High school diploma or GED Skills and experience:Good communication skills, written and verbalPrevious manufacturing experience preferredEssential duties:Place proper amount of tiles in boxes according to boxing specificationsInsure that all tiles are flat and square in box.Stack pallets of carpet tile for bin box shipments when scheduledCheck run schedules for special packaging or stack-off instructionsProcess boxes through the box machine insuring proper sealing withoutbox damage.Insure that box machine is clean and in proper working orderBe alert for quality defects such as short cut and bevels prior to boxingMove all off-quality tiles to the reinspection table.Maintain housekeepingComply with safety rulesComply with environmental regulationsBe aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)Ensure ISO procedures are followed.Understand and support the Interface commitment to sustainability.Perform other duties as assignedPhysical demands:Standing throughout 8-10 hour shiftLift up to 60 pounds repeatedlyWork environment:Non-climate controlled manufacturing environmentLearn more about Interface (NASDAQ: TILE) and our brands at interface.com and FLOR.com.
