Software Application Developer/Analyst - IITargeted Years of Experience: 3–5 yearsOverviewWe are looking for a Software Application Developer/Analyst to support network infrastructure planning and reporting. The role involves querying large enterprise databases, building data pipelines, producing interactive web-based reports, maintaining and advancing Smartsheet workflows, and documenting business processes. You will work alongside a small team and an AI assistant (Claude) to accelerate delivery.ResponsibilitiesWrite and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and matching across multiple enterprise data sources Query Oracle, Teradata, and Google BigQuery databases to pull, reconcile, and validate large datasets Build and maintain interactive HTML reports and internal web tools (Flask-based) with sortable/filterable tablesDevelop and maintain Smartsheet sheets, dashboards, automations, and cross-sheet formulasDesign and document business process flows intake-to-delivery workflows, data lineage diagrams, and decision trees using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent Support ad-hoc data investigationsIdentify mismatches, gaps, and anomalies across systemsMust-Have SkillsPython (intermediate+): pandas, database connectors, data processing scripts2+ years Smartsheet: sheet building, cross-sheet formulas, dashboards, and automations2+ years SQL (intermediate+): comfortable across Oracle, Teradata, or BigQuery; understands joins, aggregations, NULL handling3+ years Process Analyst / Python Developer — Contracts documentation: ability to translate complex multi-system workflows into clear process flow diagrams and written procedures2+ years HTML/JavaScript: able to read, edit, and extend existing report templates (DataTables, basic JS)2+ years Creative problem solving: able to take an ambiguous business question and propose a practical, well-designed solution — not just execute instructionsDesired SkillsFamiliarity with BPMN or structured process notationExperience with large-scale enterprise data (telecom, utilities, logistics, or similar) Google BigQuery / GCP familiarityExperience working alongside AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field — or equivalent work experience Smartsheet certification a plusWhat Success Looks LikeYou can take a vague data question, find the right tables, write a clean query, and deliver a working report — and when a process is unclear or undocumented, you can map it out so the next person doesn't have to figure it out from scratch.
