Process Operator - Bellville, TX

Control Room/Process OperatorMonitoring filling and discharging of bulk acetylene trailers at Western and customer sites via HMI.Work with Western's distribution team in scheduling trailer deliveries.Maintain logbook entries for plant operations, acetylene/ fuel gas deliveries.Assist maintenance department in trouble shooting various plant equipment at multiple sites.Complete any other duties assigned.Initially Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pmEssential FunctionsPerform all duties in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions.Maintain punctuality and meet/exceed attendance standards as set by company policy.Meet or exceed the standards of each duty assigned.To know, understand and accurately follow all applicable SOP's.Required for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsQualificationsHigh School DiplomaKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong communication skills, good phone etiquette, able to read/write/speak English professionally, have basic math skills, at least high school diploma, and proficient computer skillsPhysical Demands/Working ConditionsAbility to lift 50lbs., sit for extended periods of time, climb and balance safely on commercial trailers, to work extended shifts, to hear in a noisy background
