Cash Application Supervisor

Position Overview This role owns the operational execution of cash application including payment posting, reconciliations, exception handling, and issue resolution across multiple systems. You’ll ensure strong internal controls, while helping modernize and streamline processes. Success requires attention to detail, strong organization, and confident team leadership in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Team leadership & development: Supervise, coach, and train cash application specialists; assign workloads, monitor performance, and reinforce quality standards. Cash posting & reconciliation: Oversee accurate application of customer payments across multiple ERP systems; investigate unapplied cash, short-pays, and discrepancies and drive timely resolution. Month-end close support: Complete reconciliations and reporting tied to cash application activity; ensure deadlines and close requirements are met. Reporting & KPIs: Track accuracy, timeliness, and throughput; share trends and insights with the Cash Application Manager to support decision-making. Process improvement: Identify ways to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and increase automation to improve speed and accuracy. Additional support: Handle other priorities as assigned based on business needs.
