Technical knowledge: Creating API's to interface with MAGIC datawriting core Java applications (JAVA EE, backend business logic, getting data from the database app, some simple UI, and server API's which are RESTful, Javascript for UI, JSP, all web), REST, database (Oracle, JDBC)moving from Java 8 from 6, migration of Maven, it's going to be a recompile to start with, and migrate to Java 8 as quickly as possible to get on to Maven for scheduling featuresJenkins (for build and deploy), Junit, Selenium test scripts, going to Maven from IBM's version of ANT, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, EJB (for transaction), Servlet, JMS (Websphere).
