Must be proficient with SQL & Pytest.Fintech industry (financial technology industry)The project is a New automation project for loan processingDay to day - develop and maintain code / work on automation for the project / do end to end testing / work with SME\'s and project mgmt. to review codeFor testing - automated testing with Pytest which is a Python testing framework that helps developers write, organize, and execute tests for their software.Support is once every 3 weeks - team of 15 people90% of work is development & automation and 10% supportProject is about automating - so development & testing has to be doneKnowledge of Devops platform would be helpfulMust Have Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on python development experience. Must be proficient with SQL. Fintech industry is a plus but not a must have.Schedule: Some occasional flexibility required around deployments.Shortlisting Deadline: 9/26Position Description:- Provide solutions to technical issues including hands-on code enhancements and defect fixing to the applications in the portfolio- Serve as a champion for change- Provide L3 Production Support for python based ICM core applications- Drive for tactical outcome to increase development teams efficiency and productivity- Engage with the business users application owners and other affected parties during problem resolution- Document lessons learned help maintain knowledge database- Coordinate end to end application onboarding to production- Occasional off-hour deployment and application validation support.Qualifications:- Design and implement Web-based applications using Python.- Develop specifications and designs for complex applications or modifying/maintaining complex existing applications.- Perform code analysis requirements analysis identification of code metrics system risk analysis and software reliability analysis.- SQL Performance tuning improvement and ability to write complex SQL queries.- Work closely with design teams and business owners to define design and implement features.- Evaluate suggest and outline improvements to existing development work.- Collaborate with the rest of the development team to ensure data is validated and presented correctly through APIs and database calls as required.- Work with development team to validate requirements design interfaces data and workflows through the application lifecycle.- Use standard code management tools including Git as well as Agile software development processes.- Experience with DevOps CICD environments is plus.- Experience in financial industry is plus.
