Automotive Parts, Accessories, and Tire RetailersEmployment ServicesInterurban and Rural Bus TransportationProfessional and Commercial Equipment and Supplies Merchant WholesalersCommercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and LeasingJob Title: Battery EngineerDuration: 12 months contract with possible extensionLocation: Liberty, NC 27298 Overtime: 20% Travel: Up to 10% (Domestic & occasional international)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop process plans for battery manufacturing lines Support equipment procurement, installation, commissioning & launch Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and contractors to meet milestones Lead/support equipment trials ensuring safety, quality & productivity Work with MES, Andon, MOM, SCADA, and network systems Configure PLCs (Mitsubishi preferred) and support system connectivity Perform root cause analysis, KPI tracking, and production support Manage project schedules, budgets, and reporting RequirementsBachelor's in Engineering or related field 3+ years in manufacturing / capital projects Experience with PLCs, AutoCAD, and industrial systems Knowledge of SQL, networking, MES/SCADA systems Strong project management & scheduling skills Willingness to travel (10%) and work flexible hours Nice to HaveMitsubishi PLC, SCADA, MES experience Kepware, Ignition, or similar tools
