Kumar & Associates (K+A) is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer for our Summit County Office. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical/civil engineering or a related technical field is required. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have: 4+ years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience. Registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate in English. Must have a valid CO driver’s license, and acceptable driving record (per MVR). Ability to work independently, communicate clearly (excellent oral and writing communication skills). Strong attention to detail Personality traits to interact with a wide variety of clientele. Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain client relationships. Prepare project specific scope and fee proposals. Manage projects from proposal development through completion. Occasional construction site visits to help identify issues and provide our clients with workable solutions. Perform engineering analysis to develop project specific geotechnical recommendations. Generate and present well written geotechnical studies.
