Position Details: Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer Location: Cooperstown, NY Duration: 13 weeksShift: 7 AM - 3 PMShift Details: 5 days a weekCall Details: rotating call schedule (which includes: (1.) 1 weekday evening on-call every other week. (2.) 1 weekend on-call approximately every fifth weekType: Local Contract but travelers are welcome to apply! Job Summary: The Sonography Department at the facility provides high-quality ultrasound imaging services with a focus on both general and specialized vascular studies.Sonographers here are expected to have strong skills in general and vascular ultrasound, with experience in intervention radiology (IR) preferred.The team at the facility operates within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab, requiring sonographers with advanced knowledge and proficiency in a range of diagnostic vascular studies. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of sography or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year General or Vascular sonography experience.While certification as an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) is preferred, all sonographers are expected to be well-versed in the requirements of an IAC-accredited vascular lab.
