Food and Beverage Supervisor

Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of all Food and Beverage Department positionsSupervise food and beverage team members to ensure efficient daily operationConduct pre and post shift meetingsReview daily time sheetsConduct in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainingsProvide coaching to team membersIssue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as neededAbility to properly and safely operate all equipment used throughout the outletsSupervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided by team membersResponsible for the continued compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelinesFollow opening & closing procedures in all outlets to maintain cleanliness standardsKnowledge of all menu items, alcoholic beverages and specialsOversee the service of alcoholic beverages to ensure legal requirements are maintainedResponsible for maintaining food and beverage presentation standards at food outletsOversee the kitchen to ensure food is prepared in a timely mannerMust have knowledge of the park POS systemMust positively reinforce and motivate team membersEnsure all park policies and procedures are being followed by all team membersMaintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team membersProvide superior customer service to all guests in a polite and expedient mannerAssist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze WaterparkFollow Park policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age or olderExperience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferredAbility to accept guidance, constructive criticism and supervisionDemonstrate ability to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadershipBe aware, attentive, and work well with othersAbility to work in indoor kitchen conditions and outdoor conditions and take precautions, including hydration, sun-protection and other precautions as necessaryPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand or walk for long periods of timeMust be able to lift, carry, move, lower and/or position items weighing up to 50 pounds individually and more than 50 pounds as part of a team liftWe also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
