Job DescriptionJob TitleTesting Operations Supervisor – Automotive Vehicle TestingOverview / SummaryWe are seeking a Testing Operations Supervisor to co-lead a 200+ member workforce supporting vehicle durability testing, mileage accumulation, vehicle dynamics, emissions build, brake testing, safety impact, stockroom, and performance testing operations. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and a strong understanding of automotive testing, development, and certification processes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and operational management skills in a fast-paced testing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCo-lead a workforce of test drivers, stockkeepers, and mechanics in a 24/7 multi-shift operationMaintain current safety protocols and implement continuous safety improvementsEnsure test vehicles are operated according to testing schedules and compliance requirementsEnsure drivers and mechanics properly document vehicle issues and potential customer concernsEnsure test vehicles are properly maintained and work orders are completed in a timely manner to minimize downtimeLead ongoing process improvements and promote best practices to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and moraleEnsure drivers are properly trained to perform durability testing activitiesDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with drivers, mechanics, union representatives, and cross-functional management teamsSupport additional operational requirements, including holidays and weekends when neededRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of related experiencePrevious supervision or leadership experienceExperience working in a union environmentFamiliarity with vehicle testing and proving ground operationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work additional hours, including holidays and weekends as neededPreferred QualificationsDegree in business, management, engineering, or automotive-related fieldAutomotive vehicle repair knowledgeStrong leadership skills with focus on employee coaching and developmentExperience using data analysis to support decision-makingWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
