This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant pharmaceutical care while driving continuous improvement across pharmacy operations. The Manager serves as a trusted operational leader and assumes responsibility for daily pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy leader who enjoys hands-on leadership, process optimization, and collaboration in a complex acute care environment.QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the Director of Pharmacy in the overall direction and operational management of the Pharmacy DepartmentSupervise daily pharmacy operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsLead, coach, and support pharmacy staff under the purview of the Director of PharmacyCollaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and operational teams to support high-quality pharmaceutical careIdentify, develop, and implement operational, workflow, and process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and service excellenceAssume responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, making decisions aligned with organizational policies and operational goalsPerforms duties as of a staff pharmacist as neededMinimum QualificationsEducation: BS in Pharmacy or PharmDExperience:Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy experienceMinimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy management experienceLicensure: Active Arizona Pharmacist LicensePreferred QualificationsEducation: Master's degree in Business or Healthcare ManagementExperience: Pharmacy residency or fellowship trainingCertifications: BLS, ACLS, and/or BCPSAbout UsAre you a results-driven leader ready to make a meaningful impact to patients, caregivers, and your community?
