These systems encompass a student information system, learning management systems, identity management systems, financial/HR systems, storage, and communication systems, and diverse educational software platforms.The following statements are illustrative of the essential functions of the job and other key duties that may be required. The district reserves the right to modify or change the duties or the essential functions of this job at any time.Reports consistently for work as scheduledPerforms other duties as assignedAttains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance StandardsAssists senior Team members with maintaining device and user securityAssists with application upgrades and patchingCreates and maintains documentation for disaster recovery purposesCreates, maintains, and documents enterprise system policies and proceduresDevelops skills to assist senior Team members with requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing of new software systems and modifications to existing systemsLearns and participates in fundamental SQL Server database administration tasks including software installation, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, capacity planning, data export/import and SQLLearns and supports the management of various data integrations for educational and enterprise systemsParticipates in structured programming language training. Increase programming proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio with ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSSPrioritizes workload and establish effective communication of those prioritiesProvides direct support to senior Team members on various tasks and projectsProvides secondary support for any other enterprise systems which are not part of the primary assignmentServes as an effective team member of the Information Technology DepartmentSupport the Administration Center conference room technologies including Teams Rooms and live eventsSupports license management administration for various educational applicationsWorks additional unscheduled hours when required for critical tasks and provides 24-hour support when critical needs ariseKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to translate user needs into application requirementsBasic understanding of database management systems, SQL query and reporting functionsDemonstrates ability to work well with others in a team setting or as a service providerExcellent communication skillsFamiliarity with application security concerns for users, devices and enterprise applicationsKnowledge of Microsoft platform tools and applicationsKnowledge or experience with programming languages commonly used in IT (PowerShell, C# and other .NET languages, t-SQL)Knowledge or experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutionsMust be a strong learner open to new ideasOutstanding technical writing and documentation skillsStrong focus on project delivery and attention to detailWork Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a staff member typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
