Maintenance TechnicianThis role focuses on performing electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of manufacturing equipment. You will work with PLCs, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to reduce downtime and extend asset life.Install new manufacturing equipment, components, and electrical systems according to specifications and safety standards.Diagnose and repair faults in PLC-controlled systems to restore proper machine functionality.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, including components such as valves, cylinders, and actuators.Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to maintain accurate service records.Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work orders and minimize equipment downtime.Follow safety procedures and best practices while working with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Essential SkillsHands-on experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing and repairing issues on manufacturing equipment.Ability to troubleshoot and work with PLC-controlled systems.Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, including troubleshooting and repairs.Solid understanding of general maintenance practices, including preventative maintenance.Ability to read and interpret technical information related to equipment and systems.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to resolve equipment issues.Commitment to following safety procedures while working with electrical and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications and/or formal schooling in a manufacturing-related industry are a plus.Technical training or coursework related to electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance is beneficial.Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new equipment and technologies in a manufacturing setting.Strong communication skills to work effectively with maintenance and production teams.Why Work Here?You will join a manufacturing team where your technical expertise directly supports smooth operations and reliable production. You will work around production machinery and industrial equipment, using standard maintenance tools and diagnostic devices while following appropriate safety guidelines and wearing suitable work attire and protective equipment as required.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orrick, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
