Senior Photographer

The position of Senior Photographer requires on site attendance in the Vista, CA office two days a week, plus additional department coverage as needed, and travel for photoshoots. Our brands and products are known as best-in-class in quality, design, style and functionality.ResponsibilitiesLight and shoot digital product photography of styled products in the studio and on location. Ensure that all images are compelling and consistent with brand identity.Shoot editorial marketing assets as needed, capturing the brand's essence in a way that resonates with the target audience and supports seasonal campaigns.Oversee and direct all video content creation, ensuring it aligns with brand aesthetics and meets creative needs. Manage all aspects of production, from content creation to studio management. This includes managing the photography studio, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the workspace is organized and efficient.Work closely with the Art Director to execute studio direction and editorial concepts. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create content for owned brand channels, ensuring all outputs align with marketing strategies.Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography and video content created and distributed by the studio. Oversee product image selection, processing, and editing, maintaining a cohesive visual style across all brands.Understand and manage deadlines and schedules, prioritizing product shoots to meet daily and weekly targets.Effectively manage one direct report, as well as hired and contract help, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.Handle post-production processes, including retouching and coordinating with digital assets contractors, to optimize photography and video asset hand-offs.Communicate with other teams to proactively address discrepancies and solve issues, continuously seeking ways to improve our brand’s visual representation.Minimum Job RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent7-10 years experience in creative direction, photography, image retouchingA firm understanding of photography, pre and post-production processes Experience with woman's athleisure wear and fitness products preferred.
