Job DetailsDescriptionExtreme Auto Design is seeking a skilled and motivated Accessory Technician to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for performing precision wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles, while also handling related suspension, steering, and tire services.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignments using alignment equipmentDiagnosing steering and suspension alignment issuesInstalling subwoofers and audio systemsInstalling amplifiers and wiringLighting upgrades (LED, off road lights, etc)Basic testing of wiring, mounting, and fitment of accessoriesInstalling grill guards, bumper guardsInstalling running boards, lift kits, tool boxes, etcQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive alignments or suspension/steering repair.Proficiency in using computerized alignment equipment (e.g., Hunter, John Bean, etc.).Understanding of vehicle suspension, steering, and wheel/tire systems.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.ASE Certification(s) a plus but not required.Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.Able to stand, bend, squat, and work in various positions throughout the day.Comfortable working in a shop environment with occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, and chemicals.
