HR Generalist - Bilingual (On-Site)

BASIC FUNCTION: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and services, including but not limited to recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, safety, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, training and employee communications. The Human Resources Business Partner reports directly to the Human Resources Manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists in coordinating the recruitment and retention efforts for a farm groupResponsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, terminations, promotions and transfers, and performance evaluations for assigned farm groupMaintains and monitors the performance evaluation system in the HRIS databaseRecommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook policies and procedures in accordance to regulationsCreates and delivers presentations regarding HR policies and practices as directedProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Serves as a consultant to farm management teams, supervisors and employees in regards to employee relations issuesSubject matter expert in the benefits offerings and benefit processAssists with the worker's compensation and safety programsResponsible for unemployment filings for assigned farm groupMaintains knowledge trend and advises management to ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to human resources functionsWorks with line management to identify[TS1] training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.Assists in analyzing data to determine a market competitivenessPerforms other related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Prior principles and practices in the human resources arena is required. Experience with an HRIS database is preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and excellent interpersonal skills. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 1. An Associate degree in a business field and 2. A minimum of 3-5 years human resources experience OR 3. A Combination of education and experience 4.
