HTI is recruiting for a Manufacturing Quality Inspector for an established manufacturing company in Wellford, SC. This is a direct hire, first shift opportunity offering $28–30/hour based on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing inspection experience who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a team-oriented production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring tools, inspecting CNC-machined and welded components, and supporting quality standards in a manufacturing setting.What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay with overtime potentialStable, growing manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and reliabilityComprehensive benefits package and paid time offHands-on work in a modern manufacturing environmentSupportive, team-oriented cultureOpportunity for training and long-term career growthWhat You NeedHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience preferredExperience using standard measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gaugesExperience inspecting CNC-machined and welded/fabricated componentsAbility to read blueprints and basic inspection documentationExperience working in a manufacturing, metal fabrication, or automotive environment preferredBasic computer skills and comfort entering inspection data into systemsStrong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityGood communication skills and ability to work with production teamsPreferred but not required:Basic understanding of GD&T or weld symbolsExperience with portable measuring equipment or CMM systemsFamiliarity with ISO quality standardsWhat Your Role Will Look LikeInspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure quality standards are metPerform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring toolsInspect CNC-machined and welded components for quality and conformance to specificationsIdentify nonconforming parts and communicate issues with production teamsRecord inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentationSupport troubleshooting and corrective actions related to quality concernsAssist with maintaining a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environmentHelp support continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing processWork closely with production and quality teams to ensure customer expectations are met
