Internet/Web Architect

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise web applications. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership, guiding development teams and translating business requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions and web architecture.Design and implement scalable solutions across Internet/Intranet/Extranet environments.Lead all phases of the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation and deployment.Establish and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and development guidelines.Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership to development teams.Mentor junior developers and oversee code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.Develop system design documentation, technical specifications, and performance metrics.Ensure solutions are fully integrated with existing systems, applications, and infrastructure.Participate in project planning, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.Support both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies as needed.Contribute to prototype development and proof-of-concept initiatives.Required Qualifications5–7+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, and application design.Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including:C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVCMicrosoft SQL ServerAzure cloud servicesExperience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.Knowledge of systems integration and multi-platform environments.Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Strong understanding of enterprise web architecture and design principles.Proven experience leading projects or acting as a technical lead/SME.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Oracle databases.Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and SharePoint.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Visio.
