Café Manager / Event Manager
Overview
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and brand-minded event manager to lead Sportiefs Café operations at farmers markets, events, and activations. This role includes overseeing the barista team, managing setup/logistics, coordinating on-site content, and ensuring smooth service from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Manage team operations, customer experience, and inventory at each event
Coordinate with event hosts, market organizers, and logistics vendors
Lead on-site setup, breakdown, and brand presentation
Ensure content production runs smoothly (e.g. UGC, reels, behind-the-scenes)
Act as main point of contact during activations
Requirements:
Experience managing café teams, food trucks, or event activations
Valid driver’s license
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Must be available on weekends and flexible hours
Passion for wellness, design, and experiential marketing is a plus
Transport the cart to and from event locations as needed (must be comfortable with cart pickup/drop-off logistics)
Train and supervise baristas so they are event-ready and can step in when needed
Manage inventory, supplies, and restocking between events
Be the point of contact for event coordinators and clients on-site
Ensure the cart meets health, safety, and brand standards at all times
Assist with scheduling and coordinating team availability for events
Film content and participate in social media coverage during events
Represent the brand professionally at all times
Contract Based
