Job FunctionsLogistics Route PlanningDevelops internal route plan and updates as per the bi-weekly ordersProvides communication to the Region Repair Center managersManages sub-contract transport vendor operationsExtracts and analyzes data from an ERP, EAM system, logistics/shipping software, and creates reportsProvides prompt follow up on shipping schedules and route issues to mitigate any field concernsOversees urgent field requests, responsible for making appropriate shipping arrangements as neededProvides shipment tracking and corrects errors as needed to prevent field concernsProvides key metric reporting for on-time delivery and order fulfillment ratesCoordinates delivery schedulesMaintains internal customer relationships and ensures timely responses to queriesMonitors truck PM, coordinates truck maintenance and safety auditCoordinates with transport vendors for placing the trucks as per internal logistics route schedule and monitors the deliveriesCoordinates with repair center manager and drivers for safety, compliance, and truck operation risk mitigation processCoordinates the truck equipment and software availability to regional repair centerRoutes all same and next day deliveries according to established logistic metrics by region or areaUtilizes recommended routing plan based on available resources to optimize routes and delivery personnelCommunicates to the branches regarding time frames and any other work order issues that negatively impact the routing of a deliveryMonitors a driver's progress during the day and communicates back to the branch level any issues related to impacting missed time windowsCoordinates with region repair center manager on all action plans that would ensure driver compliance with targeted financial objectivesComplies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies, procedures, and "best practices" according to Logistics, DOT, ACHC, and local state labor lawsEnsures proper service levels are met and communicates with the servicing branch of undeliverable order and/or service failureReviews all undeliverable orders and directs them to the appropriate parties for immediate/expanded follow upDemonstrates professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers and branches regarding issues that impacts the ability of the dispatcher to effectively route a work order to a driver in the fieldSome travel may be requiredJ-18808-Ljbffr
