Shift flexibility and availability are required as we pride ourselves on being there for others and our team. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal in an effective, pleasant manner with staff, clients, and customers are crucial.Duties of the Home Health Care Coordinator:As the hub of coordination for WSC Home Care, you keep clients supported and caregivers set up for success - every shift, every day.Schedule and coordinate shift coverage for caregivers and clients, ensuring no one is left without support.Step in quickly to arrange backup coverage whenever a caregiver is unexpectedly unavailable.Address and resolve client and caregiver concerns with professionalism and genuine care.Maintain and monitor client/caregiver files, billing, quarterly reports, and payroll with accuracy and attention to detail.Document all significant events - injuries, grievances, rights concerns - promptly and thoroughly. Requirements of the Home Health Care Coordinator:CNA, medical assistant, or caregiving experience - you understand the work our caregivers do.Bachelor's degree in human resources, human services, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Exceptional interpersonal skills - you communicate with warmth and confidence across clients, staff, and families.Ability to adapt and lead through shifting priorities - no two days are the same in home care.Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.Ability to lift, turn, and assist clients with or without accommodation.
