Mental Health Worker

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. The Mental Health Technician is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan. The Mental Health Technician works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/LPN and provides personal hygiene, hair care, oral care, feeding, bathing, bed making, and assists patients with ambulation and elimination. This shift will be 7a- 3:30pm, every other weekend and every other Holiday (RSWH) Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Current CPR certification required. Minimum one-year of experience in patient care in a therapeutic mental health setting is preferred. 3-6 months experience with direct care of the elderly, preferred. Education Required High School or better Licenses & Certifications Required C-ARC-BLS
