Driver's Education InstructorTerms of Employment: Part-time with salary to be determined by local salary scheduleDuties and Responsibilities:Prepare lessons tailored to students' needs.Provide instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle and on-road regulations.Teach practical skills related to all aspects of driving.Help students develop confidence in their driving skills.Gain control of the vehicle during emergency situations.Calm students who are in distress.Document and report on students' progress.Inform students when they are ready to take the driver's test.Report all accidents to the Director of Transportation.QualificationsDriving: 5 years (Required)Driver's License (Required)NC Instructor's License. (80hr driver instructor course) (Required)Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
