Job Title: Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – GNSS Navigation Algorithms Location: Torrance, CA (100% Onsite at NAVCOM facility)Contract Duration: 24 Months Contract with possibility of ExtensionShift Structure: First Shift | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through FridayPay Rate: $81.00 - $89.00/hr on W2Job Description: Our client is seeking a high-caliber Senior Embedded Product Engineer specialized in GNSS Navigation Algorithms to join their expert R&D engineering group in Torrance, CA. In this deeply technical role, you will apply advanced estimation theory to research, model, and execute cutting-edge satellite navigation positioning solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and debugging complex embedded firmware codebases that directly drive commercial global navigation products. This long-term, 24-month contract represents an exceptional destination for a seasoned algorithm engineer who thrives on working closely with bare-metal target architectures and cross-disciplinary technical teams.Required Skills: Develops, tests, and documents complex GNSS positioning and navigation algorithms inside production-grade environments.Master-level utilization of C/C++ programming to implement advanced math and filtering frameworks on embedded systems targets.Applies rigorous estimation theories (such as Kalman Filtering) to interpret noisy sensor architectures and signal streams.Conducts thorough hardware/firmware debugging and technical peer reviews to trace and isolate complex target system defects.Compiles high-level technical algorithm specifications and validation design structures to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a matching advanced technical field.5+ years of definitive professional experience writing embedded code with a heavy, proven emphasis on navigation systems and satellite tracking architectures.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate advanced mathematical algorithm designs to cross-functional global divisions.Preferred Technical Pluses: Prior experience with StarFire receiver architectures, RTK algorithms, sensor fusion protocols, or multi-frequency signal processing.Submission Constraint: If you have previously been submitted to requisition JP43353, you cannot be reconsidered for this role.
