We care for you.Position OverviewJoin our team as a Supervisor, Care Coordination who works to ensure that clients who come to the hospital are greeted courteously and efficiently, that phones are answered promptly and calls directly properly, and that client payments and other payments are handled according to policies and standards. Supervises care coordinators for the hospital and serves as a care coordinator when staffing levels require it.Snellville Animal Hospital in Snellville, Georgia, is a full-service veterinary clinic providing a wide range of services, from routine wellness to advanced diagnostics and treatment. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise care coordinators, including hiring, firing, and evaluating performance, reviewing time reporting, enforcing company policies and communicating new practices and policies regarding care coordination dutiesSchedule care coordinators according to staffing needs, serving as a care coordinator, as neededReceive client complaints and concerns regarding care coordination, escalating issues to Hospital Manager, as neededMaintains specialist (non-emergency doctors) scheduling information and changesCount cash and/or balance daily transactions, balance cash drawer and make change, as neededProcess refunds, returns, and credits, as needed by locationOrganizes and processes all payment plans and held checks, as needed by location, obtaining approvals as necessaryBi-monthly billing statements and collections as well as end-of-month closing reports, as required by locationServe as back-up to Hospital Manager for maintenance or building issue resolutionOther duties as assigned by Manager. Qualifications (Required)High School diploma or equivalent. Must have relevant supervisory experienceWorking in a team environmentCustomer ServiceHandling multiple tasks and prioritiesMulti-line telephone systemsOrganization skillsAttention to detailVerbal and written communication skillsSupervisory and staff scheduling skillsBasic math skillsProperly handling and accounting for cash and client paymentsGood interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills (Nice To Have)Experience in a veterinary medicine setting is preferredScheduleTypical shifts will be Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm and rotating Saturdays from 8am-12pmThere will be some flexibility in scheduling, and you will be the one creating the schedule for the team.
