This is a great opportunity to be part of a new team that cares for a local community. There are 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho ENT, L&D and other specialties.Main OR cases include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo and OB. OB experience is required.Shifts:Monday-Thursday, 7am to 5pm daytime position at 40 hours per week (0.8 FTE)No call, no weekends, no holidaysLeadership:Dr. Casey Tymko, Chief AnesthesiologistTeam Highlights:Care team modelResponsibilities:Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtains and/or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as neededRequirements:M.D./D.O.
