C++ Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Apex Systems is currently hiring for Software Engineers with a DoD client. Project Details / Mission Supported: * Design and develop high-performance, modular C++ software for software-defined digital solid-state radar systems in compliance with military standards.Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and stakeholders to architect and integrate C++ components into complex radar systems.Implement advanced algorithms for signal processing and real-time data handling using modern C++ (C++11/14/17).Optimize code for scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance in mission-critical environments.Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing with a focus on C++ applications.Apply Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.Support advanced radar technology initiatives and embedded systems development. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: * Expertise in C++ development, including object-oriented programming, templates, and STL.Experience with real-time systems, multithreading, and performance optimization in C++.Familiarity with CMake, cross-compilation, and build systems for C++ projects.Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for simulation and scripting tasks (desired).Functional knowledge or interest in Radar or Electronic Warfare systems and components.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
