Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pastry Chef role located at Mt. Hawley Country Club in Peoria, IL. The Pastry Chef will oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of a variety of baked goods and desserts, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency. Responsibilities include developing creative dessert menus, maintaining inventory, managing baking operations, and contributing to food preparation and presentation for casual, formal, and event dining experiences. Qualifications Expertise in Bakery, Baking, and Food PreparationProficient Culinary and Cooking SkillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented kitchen environmentCreativity to develop unique and innovative pastries and dessertsPrior experience in a professional kitchen or bakery setting is preferredFormal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is a plusCommitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
